KLEEQ grew out of Faran N.’s interest in design, mechanical systems, and making things. With a background in design leadership, he started the studio to bring that experience to custom coatings and laser engraving.

Based in Newbury Park, California, KLEEQ works with manufacturers, designers, and individuals on parts, products, and custom projects. The work ranges from choosing a Cerakote color and finish to adding engraved logos, lettering, and artwork.

Faran’s Cerakote training and hands-on coating experience guide the work in the shop. His design background shapes the details: how a color fits a product, where an engraved mark belongs, and how the finished piece will be used.
